Sting vs. Steve Austin…

This is the only singles match ever I believe between these two from WCW Saturday Night in 1994:).

Sting vs. Sid Vicious…

A standard match between these two at the Halloween Havoc 1990 PPV only posted here as it features a cameo by Barry Windham, playing a rather overweight Sting;).

The White Castle Of Fear!…

Yet another mini-movie/vignette from WCW this time to hype their upcoming Superbrawl III PPV in 1993:). This one features a helicopter, semi naked ladies, a “party” and of course a midget;). Plus Vader grunting his head off;).

Spin The Wheel, Make The Deal!…

To hype Jake “The Snake” Roberts’ match with Sting at Halloween Havoc 1992, WCW filmed a vignette involved a bar, a massive wheel, a midget and laser beams;). This somehow led to WCW’s biggest haul of PPV buys ever. If you were one of the thousands to order the PPV for this confrontation you were treated to a “Coal Miner’s Glove” match, which is a glove on a pole match, and a match which is so boring no-one has even bothered to post it on the internet;).

WCW Beach Blast 1993 Vignette…

To hype their upcoming Beach Blast PPV in 1993, WCW filmed a vignette involving volleyball, flip flops, a couple of speedboats, a ticking timebomb and a midget. Check out the quite poorly ripped video to see if I’m lying;).

Wargames- The Match Beyond…

As the WWE is doing a PPV (Pay Per View) of all gimmick matches this Sunday, I thought that it fitting post the best example of a gimmick match- Wargames. Which basically is a two ring, five-a-side cage brawl where the only way to win is via submission. It was held exclusively in WCW in one way or another from 1987 to 2000.

This video is from the Wrestlewar 1992 PPV that featured the Wargames as the main event. It’s one of my favourite matches of all time, but does contain a lot of blood and loads of predetermined violence so viewer discretion is advised;).
